Lifetime Exchange Policy

Welcome to Diamos.in (the "Website"). The Website is owned, managed, and operated by Created Gems, a partnership firm (hereinafter referred to as "Created Gems", "we", "us", or "our") with its principal office at K1/48, Lower Ground Floor, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi, India-110019. The Website functions as an e-commerce platform that allows users to browse, select, and purchase lab-grown diamond jewelry, moissanite, precious stones, precious metal jewelry, and related accessories (collectively, the "Products" or "Goods").

At Created Gems, we are committed to building lifelong relationships with our clientele. We understand that your tastes and milestones evolve, which is why we are proud to offer a comprehensive Lifetime Exchange Policy for eligible purchases made on Diamos.in.

This policy allows you to exchange your previously purchased jewelry for new pieces, subject to the valuation guidelines and conditions strictly outlined below.

Policy Applicability Window: Please note that this Lifetime Exchange Policy exclusively governs all eligible Products once they surpass 15 days from the date of original delivery. For any return or exchange requests initiated within the first 15 days of delivery, please refer to our standard 15-Day Return & Exchange Policy.

When you choose to exchange an eligible item, the exchange value will be determined based on the prevailing market rates on the exact date the item is received and inspected by our facility. The valuation is calculated as follows:

• Gold Value: You will receive 100% of the value of the gold weight, determined strictly by the prevailing gold market rate on the date of return.
• Lab Grown Diamond Value: You will receive 80% of the prevailing market value (a 20% deduction) for diamonds of the exact same grade, carat, and specifications on the date of return. Furthermore, any discount given at the time of purchase on the lab grown diamonds value shall also be deducted. 
• Exclusions (Making Charges & Taxes): Please note that initial making charges, custom design fees, and all applicable taxes (including GST) paid during the original purchase are strictly non-refundable and excluded from the final exchange value calculation.

Note: The final calculated exchange value will be provided solely as store credit or applied directly toward your new purchase. It cannot be encashed or refunded to a bank account under any circumstances. 

To guarantee the authenticity and grading of our pieces, all original documentation must accompany the exchange request.

• Original Certificates Required: The original jewelry certification and all accompanying loose diamond grading reports or certificates must be returned with the product.
• Missing Documentation: If the original certificates are lost, damaged, or not provided, Created Gems reserves the right to either strictly deny the exchange entirely or deduct an additional re-certification fee from the total calculated exchange value.

Loose diamonds are subject to specific exchange conditions to maintain the absolute integrity of our inventory:

• Laser Inscription: The loose diamond must feature its original, unaltered laser inscription matching the accompanying certificate.
• Original Certificate: The original, undamaged grading certificate must be provided.
• Strictly Upgrades Only: Loose diamonds are eligible for an upgrade only. They may only be exchanged for a new loose diamond of a higher monetary value. The client is responsible for paying the price difference.
• No Jewelry Conversions: Loose diamonds cannot be exchanged for finished jewelry pieces or settings; they may only be exchanged for other loose diamonds.

To ensure the purity of our inventory and respecting that colored gemstones are frequently worn for personal or astrological reasons, the following items are strictly excluded from the Lifetime Exchange Policy:

• Finished Gemstone Jewelry: Any jewelry piece containing gemstones other than diamonds. This includes, but is not limited to, jewelry set with emeralds, rubies, blue sapphires, yellow sapphires, or any other colored stones (whether lab-grown or naturally mined).
• Loose Colored Gemstones: All loose gemstones, other than diamonds, are strictly ineligible for exchange.
• Condition Rule: Any item (even if it consists exclusively of diamond or gold) that has been modified, repaired, or resized by a third-party jeweler is immediately disqualified from this Lifetime Exchange Policy.

Upon receiving the item, our experts will conduct a rigorous quality inspection.

• The item must match the original product data and laser inscriptions on record.
• If any diamond or gold component is found to be chipped, scratched, damaged, or missing, the cost of replacing or repairing the damaged component will be evaluated and deducted from the final exchange value.
• Created Gems reserves the sole and absolute right to determine the condition of the returned item and the final finalized exchange value.

For lifetime exchanges, clients must initiate the process by contacting our customer service team.

• Created Gems can arrange a fully insured reverse transit for the exchange; however, the absolute cost of this shipping service shall be borne solely by the purchaser and deducted from the exchange value.
• If the purchaser elects to deliver the product independently, they assume all transit risks. Created Gems accepts no liability whatsoever for items that are damaged, lost, or stolen in transit when shipped independently by the client.

Created Gems reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Lifetime Exchange Policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of your exchange request will govern your exchange rights. This policy shall be governed by the laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
