Method 1

Measuring an Existing Ring

If you already possess a ring that fits your intended finger flawlessly, measuring its inner diameter is the most precise method to determine your size.

Select and lay flat Select a comfortable ring and place it flat over a ruler.

Measure the inside diameter Carefully measure the inside distance across the exact center at its widest point in millimeters.

Compare to the chart Once you have this internal diameter, simply compare your measurement to our official Diamos conversion chart below to discover your precise Indian or international size.

Method 2

The Circumference Measurement

You can accurately measure the exact circumference of your finger using a thin strip of paper or a piece of non elastic string.

Cut a strip Cut a piece roughly 10 to 12 centimeters in length.

Wrap it snugly Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger. We highly recommend testing the loop to ensure it can slide comfortably over your knuckle before finalizing the measurement.

Mark the overlap Use a precision marker to indicate the exact point where the material overlaps.

Measure it flat Lay the strip completely flat against a ruler and measure the length up to your mark in millimeters.

Match it to the chart This final millimeter count represents your finger circumference, which can be instantly matched to the Inside Circumference (mm) column on our conversion chart.

Pro Tips

Achieving the Most Accurate Measurement

Timing Your Measurement To capture the most precise fit, we highly recommend measuring your finger toward the middle or the end of the day, when your hands are naturally at their warmest and largest. Crisp weather, early mornings, or chilled hands can cause your fingers to subtly shrink, resulting in an artificially small reading.
Accommodating Your Knuckle If your knuckle is noticeably more prominent than the base of your finger, measure both areas. Taking a reading at the knuckle as well as the base lets you select a size that falls perfectly between the two, so your ring glides over the joint with ease while resting securely at the base.
Considering Band Width Wider bands, especially those exceeding four or five millimeters, will naturally grip the finger more tightly than slim, delicate profiles. If you're commissioning a substantial band or a stacked collection, we advise sizing up by a half or a full size for comfort throughout the day.
The Dominant Hand Factor It's natural for your dominant hand to measure slightly larger than your opposite hand. Always take your measurement directly from the exact finger, on the specific hand, where you intend to wear your new Diamos piece.

Measure the Diameter Use a ruler to measure the exact inside diameter, reading directly from one inner edge straight across to the opposite inner edge.
